Our Story

Sunshine Physiotherapy and Diagnostic Centre was founded out of a divine calling to heal and to serve. Established on September 13th, 2023, the clinic stands as a testimony of faith, perseverance, and passion for restoring lives through movement and care.

The journey began when our founder, Okechukwu Hillary Onodu, started his professional career at Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) Hospital, Sabonlayi, Mangu, Plateau State, on May 1st, 2013.

At the time, he planned to stay only one month — but the kindness of patients, the humility of the local community, and the inspiration from the visiting Stitches Interplast missionary team led by Dr. Spronk (Holland) changed everything. What began as a short stay became an eight-year journey of service, learning, and transformation.

Those years shaped the foundation of Sunshine — a centre built not just on medical skill, but on compassion, faith, and a sincere drive to see lives restored and renewed.

About the Owner

Mr. Okechukwu Hillary Onodu

Mr. Okechukwu Hillary Onodu is a licensed physiotherapist and the visionary founder of Sunshine Physiotherapy & Diagnostic Centre.

He studied Medical Rehabilitation at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and began his early education at Abakpa Nike Primary School. His dedication to patient recovery and community impact has been shaped by years of hands-on experience and faith-driven service.

To him, physiotherapy is more than treatment — it’s a calling to restore hope and health to every life that walks through Sunshine’s doors.
